Temporary Fix!

Here are some updates we've got from Juddster:

www.resnia.com has been linked to Cyopets for the duration of our usual domain not being available. This means that Cyopets is back up for now. However, this is a temporary fix and we're not sure how long this domain will be up for - if there are any changes you can read about them here :)

Also, don't go anywhere! I believe we've been promised gifties for sticking around when all of this is over ;)

Hi everyone :) I've received a couple of emails so here's a news post from me - it appears that cyopets.com is down. ~~and unfortunately I don't know what's going on either. I'll be sure to update this news post if I hear any information before the site comes back up. Here's hoping it won't be too long :)~~

UPDATE: Good news - Juddster has informed us that staff are currently trying to re-obtain the cyopets.com domain, so it will take some time, but we can expect Cyopets to be back up soon! We're being told to sit tight, in the meantime. If anyone wants to register an account and leave a few forum posts while we wait: -- CLICK HERE--. This is an old cyocompendium forum that was out of use, but you're welcome to have some discussion on the "CYOPETS - General Help and Discussion" board :) -- Edith

Weapon Search 2.0!

After a long absence, Cyo-C's weapon search has returned with updated data and a new look to match our revamped item search. A link to this tool can be found in the sidebar under "Battle" - however, this may soon change as I'm itching to overhaul site navigation. If you notice any mistakes, please use the forms on the "Contact Us" page to let me know :)

I'd also like to voice my appreciation for Charion's tireless efforts to test weapons and collate data - this update wouldn't have been possible without his help.

In other news, our item rarities guide and graphics graveyard page for 2008 have received slight updates.

Okay, make that a rather belated "Happy New Year" :P Some major (though not entirely obvious at first glance)and minor changes have been made to the site, so let me detail them all for you...

Item search overhaul! If you've used this feature of the site before, you'll notice that the search is much nicer now, and clicking on a search result will take you to a new page with item info (compared to the pop-up window with an image, which is what we used to have). Of course, a lot of the information is still missing as our database structure was entirely redone, and data needs to be re-entered. If you can help out with providing item descriptions, please email them to edith@cyocompendium.net. However, it's important that you copy and paste the description exactly as it is on Cyopets :)

Top 20 Pets updated :) It's been a very long time since the last update, and the battle system on Cyopets has admittedly been stagnant for a while, but that's no reason for us not to celebrate the determined folk who relentlessly train their pets :) Some new names have made the list, so take a look, and don't forget to claim coding for a trophy if you're eligible for one.

Weapon search removed :( It'll be bigger and better (not to mention more accurate!) when it returns though :) Keep your eyes peeled for another news post, though don't hold your breath as data entry is a very tedious process :P

New news :P News items from 2007 and 2008 have now been archived - link in sidebar. News posts also have a slightly different look as you can see :) I decided that I didn't like Wordpress much :P

Updates to expect... A few sections of the site have become slightly outdated - here's what you can expect to be reviewed and updated in the near future: dailies, graphics graveyard, item combinations, item rarities.
